Use Policy
All companies
that employ people, regardless of size, should have an "Acceptable
Use Policy".
An AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) is a document that defines
the boundaries within which employees can make use of technology during
work time and can include:-
- The Use of the Internet
- Email
- Instant Messaging Services
- Mobile Phones and Landlines
- Text Messaging
- Voice over IP
- Office Postal Services
- MP3 Players
